She"s getting nuthin' for Christmas:)

I worked last night and I thought "what mercy the girls are all asleep I can sleep for and hour." Dramatic, doomsday music playing here..... then I wake up and go to look at the Christmas tree and see the presents that Mark spent all last night wrapping and what do I see, nothing. B pipes up " E took them into her bedroom" And that is where I found them. I can't even clean them up b/c I don't want to see what I am getting. One hour folks, don't let it happen to you!!!!

Disneyland!!

We decided on a Tuesday night to go to Disneyland on that Thursday. We don't do anything normal! It was a great time. All of the kids had a blast including the older kids(aka mom and dad). The drive wasn' t so fun ut we made it and the baby was amazing. She is an angel.
Grandma was a lifesaver and we are sooooo glad she came.

Naughty Children!!

Does anyone else have mornings like this??

Let me preface this experience with a tale from the night before. E wouldn't go to sleep when Mark and I wanted to go to sleep. We were all trying to sleep in our bed and we dozed off. When I woke up at one 'o' clock to feed the baby all of the lights were on in the house and my little mischief maker was sleeping in her bed upside down. I then woke up at three 'o' clock and then four 'o' clock. Gotta love babies.
So that sets me up for a grumpy morning!
Enter T into the story. I go down to see if he is doing what he is supposed to and of course he is not. To add to all of this he had peed his bed. He gets dressed goes upstairs to do his chores then has to go back downstairs to get his coat. Then he goes out into our hot tub room to take care of the cats as I was making lunches. Several minutes passed and no T. I go out into the hot tub room and find him with his arm up to his shoulder in the hot tub, water on his face and pants. He pulls it out and it is sopping wet. So not only is he not doing what he is supposed to but now he is soaked. Totally lost my cool. Not cool!!
I go back to the kitchen to get his cereal ready and am bombarded by Z with all of his morning zest. I get the milk from the refridgerator and the cereal and pour them into the bowl. Guess what? E had emptied the milk out last night during her escapde and had filled the milk jug back up with water. At this point what do I have left to do but laugh. So I went and told Mark all about our naughty children.

Dinnertime chat.

We were eating dinner and Mark got an emergency call, while he was on the phone this is what he missed:
T after poking his eyeball because he waving his hands around instead of eating
T: I hurted myself, my eye hurts.
E: My eye hurts.
T: I think when they took out my tonsils they burned my eyes.
Z: It's been so long since I've had a strawberry it's kind of sour. Do you remember when we took strawberry shortcakes on a picnic last summer?
T: Do you know what real people do when they go on picnics and there is nowhere to sit? They use a blanket. They really do.
E: I want some agua. (climbing down from the table, climbing up the counter and retrieving a cup, filling it with water and then proceeding to get everyone a cup of water but taking a sip of each as she was bringing it over to the table.)
T: She is the police officer water girl.

Never a dull moment!!!

This is a house we were considering due to a major drop in price. We can't, but it was fun to dream for a while. It has well over 7000 square feet and is priced about $250,000 from where it was first listed. We have too much other debt to qualify for the loan, however we know what we need to work on to be ready for the next opportunity. It was a lot of fun looking at it and considering the possibility even though reality finally set in.

Fun Family Pics!

T has been sleeping on the couch since his surgery. This morning I woke up at 5:30 to feed the baby and I walked out and found this scene in my front room. Maple apparently doesn't mind sharing her bed with my son.
The girls hanging out together.

L with her eyes wide open.

Z with his new do.

Our first week home.

She is still smiling after having to share her princess throne. If any of you know my dad he doesn't like cats, so it's a good thing he is taking a cat nap!
I realiza this picture is bluish. Mark has been messing with the settings on my camera. Anyways the kids love holding their baby sissy. E tells me every five minutes that the baby is crying and has to be present for every diaper change and feeding.

Here she is strutting her stuff. She had gained back 2 oz tipping the scales at 5-8oz. Such a big girl. I love her so much.

Leily's Here!!!

Here she is! 5-10oz, 19 inches long.
Here's the scoop, my blood pressure went whacko over the weekend and by Tuesday I wasn't feeling very good at all. So, instead of driving myself home after my Dr's appt, I drove myself over to the hospital and checked in. We decided to do the c-section that night at 9:00, then it got moved up to 8:00pm. She arrived at 8:26pm. She is so small and never makes a peep. She eats just like her sister did, "like a pirahna," as Mark puts it. It was just so surreal for her to be here, she was a little early after all. I'm glad Mark and I decided to have a little burst of nesting last week and got everything ready thinking we had three more weeks to wait. Our laptop died the day before she was born and so Mark went the day after and got us a new one so that is the reason for the delay in photo's. We're fat and happy here. We are so blesse.d I'm okay, and she's okay, life is great.

Trip to Coer'D'Alene

A rare moment of rest for all of us. Isn't she the cutest thing ever!! The resort we stayed at had a gorgeous pool that we spent many hours at. I think even the kids were ready to be done by the last day.

That is the resort in the background. The best part is it was FREE!!!!

Lake CDA in the background. Z isn't in pain, T isn't heavily drugged just a bad photo. E and I look good though!

We decided we would takt the kids with us to a vet conference for Mark. We drove about 7-8 hurs one way to get there and then we spent a lot of our time swimming and a little sightseeing. The resort was awesome and CDA is beautiful. It was fun to drive back on the same roads we frequented so often during vet school. The kids were good and we had a fun trip.
