Craters of the Moon!
So we decided we had go a use our camper as much as possible and we headed to Palisades. We camped in an old favorite spot Friday afternoon. It was great that first night but all that next day we had really loud atv's and motorcycles cruising by, kicking up dust and then just as I was settling into a nice nap the campers next to us decided to begin target practice that lasted all day. At about six that night Mark said he couldn't take it anymore and we left. Then we decided to go to Craters of the Moon. It was totally fun. I am not so hot at spelunking but the boys, especially T was really into it and they explored all of the caves. E and I did all but two and we took a nice three hour nap while the boys explored the two caves that apparently I wouldn't have even fit into! Mark said he got into one cave and they went exploring around and then he thought he knew where to exit and it wasn't the right exit he tried four or five other places and they weren't it either. The boys were starting to get a little nervous and then he could see some faint light coming from the right exit. That's what you get for squirming into little holes. Hope you enjoy the pics!

T's first day of kindergarten!
Here are Z and T ready to head out for their first day of school. T was so non-chlalnt about it all you would've thought he was heading
out to do chores or something. When he got home I asked T what he did for his first day and he said he forgot. Then he said he lost the paper he was supposed to give me and when I asked what it was about he siad it was nothing important. Stellar beginning to his formal education. I'm just happy he didn't pee his pants at school today even though he did when he got home! Go figure.

This photo of the kids is of our short camping trip to Kelly Canyon. Then there is the two ponies we bought. The brown one is Mr. Goodbar, so named to give his some character according to my hubby. Notice that the pony almost looks like the perfect size for him, more so than his huge thouroughbred horse that is a monster. The little pinto is snickerdoodles and she is sweet.
They are the newest additions to our family.

Alaskan Adventure!
As you can see we caught a lot of fish, I caught two ducks, which Mark wont let me forget, but I did catch the biggest Silver Salmon! We played on the beach by my parents cabin and there was something creepy-crawly under every rock. We ate crab until we were stuffed, saw whales, bald eagles, the kids and Mark blazed new trails in the forest, it was a great time. Enjoy the photo's.
